Annex III
Annex III is the list of high-risk use cases in the EU AI Act, covering eight areas: biometrics, critical infrastructure, education, employment, essential services (incl. credit scoring), law enforcement, migration, and administration of justice & democracy.
If a system performs one of the Annex III functions, it is presumed high-risk and the full Chapter III obligations apply. Annex III can be amended by the Commission as new high-risk uses emerge.
