Data governance
Article 10 requires that training, validation and test datasets for high-risk AI are relevant, sufficiently representative, and examined for possible biases that could affect health, safety or fundamental rights.
Data-governance practices must cover design choices, data collection and provenance, preparation, assumptions, and bias detection and mitigation. It is where fairness and non-discrimination are engineered in.
